The 8th grade is going on a field trip on Monday May 11th.
We are going to the Marble’s  Children’s Museum to watch a 3D IMAX movie and complete a corresponding lab.  

If your student wishes to go they must turn in their permission slip and money ($10) by MONDAY APRIL 6th!!!

Parents who wish to come must be a Wake County approved Volenteer.  Parents will have to provide their own transportation to Marble’s and also pay for themselves to see the movie.

Starting today, any student who is suspended or put in ALC for behavior reasons will be required to have their parent or guardian accompany them on the field trip.

    Why do you think it’s important that we exhibit stewardship towards the Earth?  Write a paragraph (5-7 sentences)

  2. Watch Intro to ecosystems video and write down 8 facts you learned from the video
  3. Write a definition of the word ECOSYSTEM.  Include the following words in your defintion; biotic, abiotic, food web, producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers.
    Next, with your shoulder partner come up with one combined definition.
    Lastly, make a group of four and come up with one master definition
